3. Kamara goes for multiple touchdowns for second week in a row

Prior to Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans, it was crazy to think how Alvin Kamara’s last touchdown came all the way back in Week 3 before the New Orleans Saints running back found the end zone twice this past Sunday.

Over the years, Kamara has worked his way into becoming one of the league’s top running backs, and while his lack of trips into the end zone certainly drove some fantasy football owners crazy, at least the Saints have still been a top team in the NFC.

Since New Orleans is still technically in the hunt for a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs, Sunday’s meeting with the Carolina Panthers will actually have some meaning for the NFC South champions.

After finding the end zone twice against the Titans, does Kamara have what it takes to keep the momentum going to help the Saints defeat the Panthers in Week 17 to keep the first-round bye hopes alive?

With Carolina turning out to be one of the biggest disappointments from 2019, this could be the perfect opportunity for Kamara to keep his touchdown trend going, and boost his confidence before January when his play will matter the most in the playoffs.
