17. Golladay catches double-digit passes for first time in 2019

Disappointing doesn’t even begin to describe how this year has been for the Detroit Lions, and while the argument can be made things would be different with a better situation at quarterback, keep in mind the struggles were already in place before Matthew Stafford went down.

Unfortunately, last Sunday marked the 11th time in 12 games the Lions finished on the losing end after coming up short against the Denver Broncos.

When taking into consideration that Detroit was considered a potential sleeper team in the NFC back in September, this is the perfect example of how quickly things can change for any team.

On a positive note, at least the Lions continue to see Kenny Golladay get better with experience, as the wideout has already crushed his previous career high with 11 touchdown catches to his name entering Week 17.

Since the Green Bay Packers still have plenty to play for, the Lions will need all of the extra help on Sunday just to have a fighting chance, and if this results in Golladay seeing more targets than usual, no one would be surprised at all.

Catching more than 10 passes sounds like a lot for any receiver, but Golladay would love to break the mark for the first time in 2019 to help end this disappointing year on a high note.
