15. Chubb finishes 2019 as rushing leader

Believe it or not, expectations were high for the Cleveland Browns entering the 2019 season as a potential sleeper contender in the AFC. And while this appeared to be the case at times, this year was basically a bust for the Browns since they will be watching the playoffs from home.

The whole point of acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. in the offseason from the New York Giants was to help the offense of the Browns reach new levels since the unit already consisted of Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, and Nick Chubb.

Speaking of Chubb, as disappointing as this year has been in Cleveland, at least Chubb is in the perfect position to finish the 2019 season as the leader in rushing with 1,453 yards to his name entering Week 17.

As a rookie in 2018, Chubb displayed all sorts of potential on offense as a new weapon for the Browns, and if the previous two years are any indication of what the future holds, Cleveland will be in great shape at the running back position.

Luckily for Chubb, the Browns will close the year out with a favorable game on the road against a Cincinnati Bengals team with only one win to their name in 2019.

In other words, if Cincinnati’s defense continues to struggle the way they have, Chubb shouldn’t have a problem finishing with an impressive game.
