13. Barkley finds end zone three times

Fantasy football owners dealing with the frustrations surrounding Saquon Barkley for most of 2019 received an amazing surprise in Week 16 when the New York Giants running back torched the Washington Redskins for 279 yards from scrimmage to go along with two touchdowns.

The Giants received some criticism during the draft in 2018 when they decided to go with the former Penn State star over a quarterback since Eli Manning was in need of a successor, but clearly the situation worked out great for New York.

Not only has Barkley turned out to be an absolute stud on offense, but the Giants would benefit in the draft one year later by landing Daniel Jones, who is coming off a five-touchdown performance to help defeat the Redskins.

But when it comes to Barkley, the Giants running back could be in for another monster performance when facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.

As great as the Eagles have looked on defense at times in 2019, the unit has also been one of the most inconsistent groups as well.

Philadelphia certainly had their way a few weeks ago when they limited Barkley to just 66 rushing yards, but with the circumstances completely different for Sunday’s contest, the Eagles could be in for a more difficult challenge.
