Here are five head coaches that should be considered on the hot seat entering NFL Week 17 of the 2019 season.

With only one game to go, the pressure will be on for plenty of head coaches entering NFL Week 17, especially when it comes to Jason Garrett of the Dallas Cowboys.

Entering last weekend, the Cowboys were in perfect position to claim the NFC East title since all they needed to do was defeat a banged-up Philadelphia Eagles team on the road.

As football fans found out, this contest turned out to be far from easy for Garrett’s squad after the Cowboys failed to score a single touchdown, and ended up losing 17-9.

All of a sudden, Dallas not only needs to win in Week 17 over the New York Giants, and some help from the Washington Redskins just to make the playoffs, but also to potentially save Garrett’s job as head coach.

For months, there has been plenty of discussion over whether Garrett would be fired if the Cowboys failed to earn a trip to the Super Bowl, meaning the team ending up watching the playoffs from home would almost guarantee this taking place.

Nothing is set in stone at the moment since crazier things have taken place in the NFL during the final weekend of regular-season action, but it’s difficult to feel confident in Garrett and this Dallas team at this point.
