3. Doug Marrone

After moving on from Blake Bortles to pave the way for Nick Foles, the Jacksonville Jaguars were expected to emerge as one of the top contenders in the AFC during the 2019 season.

Instead, the Jaguars will enter the offseason as a team with more questions than answers at the moment, including whether Doug Marrone deserves another chance to prove himself worthy of the head coaching gig in 2020.

In previous years, Jacksonville’s defense was the major strength of the team, and the addition of Foles to the offense was supposed to be a missing piece to the puzzle to help the Jaguars become relevant again.

But between trading Jalen Ramsey before the deadline along with the team trying to figure out if the offense would be better moving forward with Gardner Minshew instead of Foles, this shows how much of a mess the Jaguars have become.

Putting all of the blame on Marrone would be unfair for obvious reasons, but also with some of the tension from the last few months, Jacksonville needs to be at least considering the possibility of a replacement at head coach.

Otherwise, the Jaguars could be at risk for another year of disappointment in 2020 if they decide to bring Marrone back.
