Kevin Jarvis. Scouting Report. Michigan State. 7. player. 805. Pick Analysis. Offensive Guard

At this point in the draft, the Chicago Bears should just pick someone up who could add some depth to the offensive line. With the earlier pick on a lineman, the team doesn’t have to depend on another seventh-round pick to be a starter or an important contributor. Just like the previous pick, if it works great, if it doesn’t you didn’t lose on a big pick.

Kevin Jarvis is a key contributor for a pretty good Michigan State offensive line. He played as a freshman but became the full-time starter in his freshman season.

Jarvis is 6-4 and weighs 317 pounds. He has strong, violent hands and has the ability to move people around. He excels at run blocking, keeping his head up and always aware of his surroundings.

He has a lot of strength in his lower body so he is a great anchor. Again, the Bears’ run blocking wasn’t too good in 2019 so having someone who does well in that area really helps the offense.

Jarvis has had a couple of injuries, including a leg injury that kept him out of a chunk of games in 2019. He has come back and is playing again. Even though he is playing again, teams will be paying close attention to his medical report.
