Here are five teams that should consider themselves on upset alert for NFL Week 17 of the 2019 season.
From the New York Jets defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Arizona Cardinals shocking the Seattle Seahawks, last weekend was filled with a few surprise upsets, and if football fans are lucky, this will be the case as well for NFL Week 17.
As crazy as it is to believe, Sunday will mark the final game of the regular season in 2019, and while there are numerous teams that already know their playoff fate, there are also a handful facing key games this weekend in order to extend their season to January.
Heading into last Sunday, all the Dallas Cowboys needed to do was defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, and they would be crowned winners of the NFC East for the third time in four seasons.
Not only did the Cowboys come up short against their rivals, and fail to score a single touchdown, but now Dallas needs to win on Sunday against the Washington Redskins while receiving some help from the New York Giants defeating the Eagles.
But of course, the Cowboys defeating the Redskins will be easier said than done on Sunday, especially if Dallas plays as poorly as they did this past Sunday in their loss to the Eagles since Washington would love to take advantage of this kind of situation.
While picking Dallas as a team to be on upset alert seemed like an easy decision with the way this season has gone, here are a few extra teams that will need to be extra cautious as well heading into Week 17.
