Minnesota Vikings: 3 Bold predictions vs. Bears in Week 17
Before the Minnesota Vikings host the Chicago Bears in Week 17 on Sunday, here are three bold predictions that will take place for the Vikings in the game.
The Minnesota Vikings have one more game left in the regular season before the playoffs kick off next week. Minnesota will return back home on Sunday afternoon in Week 17 as they take on another NFC North opponent, the Chicago Bears, to finish off the 2019 campaign as both teams look to end things on a high note.
For Minnesota, it will come into the game with a record of 10-5 overall while looking to bounce back following a disappointing performance against the Packers, falling 23-10 to Green Bay on Monday Night Football. That game was the Vikings’ first loss at home in the 2019 season.
In that game, the Vikings were able to get out to a lead in the first half before being held scoreless and being outscored 14-0 in the second half of the game to fall on their home field to drop to 6-1 at home this year.
With that loss, the Vikings officially wrapped up the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoff picture and will grab the second NFC Wild Card spot in the postseason when it kicks off in about a week throughout the NFL. But first, Minnesota has one more test lying ahead of it before that can begin.
On the other end of the field this weekend, the Vikings will host a Bears squad that holds a record of 7-8 overall going into the regular-season finale. Chicago is coming off of a 26-3 loss at home against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16 last Sunday, a game that the Bears really weren’t in from the opening kick off.
Chicago enters the contest in Week 17 with a record of 3-4 in road games during the 2019 campaign, also coming into the matchup in Minnesota having lost two straight games.
Before the Vikings and Bears square off on Sunday, let’s make three bold predictions that will occur for the Vikings in the contest.
