1. Vikings will ride into the playoffs with 11-5 record

Going into the weekend’s slate of games to wrap up the regular-season schedule around the NFL, Minnesota doesn’t really have much to play for as it already has wrapped up the No. 6 seed and the second spot in the NFC Wild Card breakdown going into the playoffs.

Even though the Vikings don’t really have much to play for on Sunday afternoon, they will face a Chicago Bears squad that also doesn’t really have anything on the line going into the game, other than the fact that the Bears could try and get back to the .500 mark on the year with a win.

We could still see a bulk of Minnesota’s starting lineup take part in the game on Sunday in Week 17 at US Bank Stadium, and that will result in the Vikings once again coming out on top at home this season to conclude an impressive season at home here in 2019.

While ultimately coming out on top against the Bears this weekend, the Vikings will improve to 11-5 overall on the year and will ride into the postseason with 11 victories on the season. Minnesota will also finish the year winning seven of its eight home contests in Minneapolis, ending the regular season slate with a home record of 7-1.

It may end up feeling much like a preseason game by the end of the contest on Sunday afternoon in the regular-season finale at US Bank Stadium between Minnesota and Chicago, but the Vikings will end up with the victory and will ride into postseason play with a record of 11-5.
