Even as the DraftKings NFL picks become more difficult in the Week 17 slate, let’s take a look at the best bargains that can make you a DFS genius on Sunday.
“Eating Season” starts with surplus Halloween candy, revs up on Thanksgiving, and more or less concludes at Christmas. New Year’s Day brings resolutions for wellness that most follow for a good, solid week. Before dusting off the treadmill, the luckiest friends and families will make time for a friendly game of poker while still gathered for the holidays. And DFS players, of course, will have a friendly game going on DraftKings all the while.
Week 17 can offer quite the conundrum as it comes to fantasy football. That’s why most season-long leagues subside after Week 16 and why DraftKings players experience the most difficulty in the final week of the regular season. There are teams playing for something, teams playing for nothing and several teams somewhere in-between.
That’s why we’re here. Not only are we going to be looking at the best picks in DFS play for Week 17 but we’re also going to be doing our weekly breakdown of the best bargains on DraftKings for Sunday’s games. We’re going to first, however, look at the teams and where they stand — essentially identifying which teams have something to play for and which will offer value in other ways.

It’s worth noting that the Sunday night game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks is inexplicably absent, so we focus on other teams with skin in the games and fade the rest, poker-style.
