Stud: Ty Sambrailo

Who doesn’t love a breakout touchdown reception from an offensive lineman?

Offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo breaking out for an early-game touchdown reception to help the Falcons jump out to an early lead was a big stud for Atlanta on Sunday.

Sambrailo broke out for a 35-yard reception out of the hands of Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan, giving the Falcons a 7-0 advantage in the opening quarter in Tampa Bay.

With Sunday’s game being the final game of the regular season and Atlanta not really having much to play for in the contest, what better time to pull out this trick out to try and end the 2019 campaign on a positive note?

Dud: Second quarter play

After Atlanta was able to steal some momentum on the road in the opening quarter in the Week 17 contest, grabbing a 10-0 lead going into the second frame, Tampa Bay ended up going off for a 22-point outburst in the second quarter to take over the lead before the break.

The Buccaneers outscored the Falcons 22-6 in the second quarter along, managing to record all of their points in that frame to get out to a lead in front of their home fans.

Atlanta was ultimately able to come back and come away with the win on the road in overtime, but its play in the second quarter was certainly a dud on Sunday afternoon.
