Stud: Second-half comeback

After falling behind early at home against Miami, New England evened things up at 10-10 going into halftime to only fall behind once again going into the fourth and final quarter in Foxborough.

In the fourth quarter, however, the Patriots were able to put together a comeback performance at the end of the contest to pull ahead of the Dolphins with under a handful of minutes left to play.

Miami was ultimately able to get the last laugh at the end of the day behind a late touchdown to come out on top of New England on its home field on Sunday afternoon.

Dud: Julian Edelman

For a majority of the 2019 campaign, Julian Edelman has put together a solid year while providing quarterback Tom Brady with one of the few reliable targets within the passing game on that end of the field for New England. But in the last few weeks, and in the Week 17 contest once again, Edelman struggled within the passing attack and was held in check for a majority of the game at home.

The veteran wide receiver managed to finish with just 26 yards receiving on three catches and seven overall targets, also being held without a touchdown reception in the contest.

Going into the playoffs, Edelman is going to need to find his way back into the passing game for New England if it wants to make a run towards another Super Bowl title this year.
