15. Atlanta Falcons (15)

One can only imagine how different things would have been in the NFC if the Atlanta Falcons didn’t lose six games in a row at one point during the 2019 season, but at least ending the year on a hot note provides hope for next year.

Since the Falcons already made it clear that Dan Quinn’s job was safe, and the head coach would return in 2020, now the pressure comes for Atlanta making sure they avoid missing out on the playoffs for a third year in a row next season.

Not only did the Falcons finish this past season strong by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28-22 on Sunday, but the team managed to win each of their final four games, and six of their last eight.

With this in mind, it was understandable why the organization felt it was right to give Quinn another chance to prove himself, but also still adds to the frustration of wondering what could have been in 2019.

The talent was certainly there for Atlanta on both sides of the football, and as previously mentioned, just a few wins from that six-game losing streak could have made a huge difference in the NFC standings.

But since the Falcons can’t live in the past, at least there will be plenty to look forward to next year with this team, especially if they put together a successful offseason.
