8. Tennessee Titans (12)

When it comes to some of the biggest surprises from the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans earning a trip to the playoffs with Ryan Tannehill as their quarterback is going to rank near the top of the list.

At the time, Mike Vrabel took plenty of heat for his decision to bench Marcus Mariota in favor of Tannehill since the offensive line appeared to be the main issue behind some of the struggles on offense for the Titans.

A few months later, Tennessee is coming off a thrilling win over the Houston Texans to earn the final Wild Card spot in the AFC, and set up a date with the New England Patriots during the Wild Card Round next weekend.

Even if some will make the case that Tennessee only punched their ticket to the playoffs due to the Houston Texans resting their starters in Week 17, this is going to be the last thing that bothers the Titans.

It was only a few weeks ago in which the Titans were considered one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and with some of the struggles surrounding the Patriots as of late, Tennessee could be in for a surprise win on the road over the defending champions.
