29. Washington Redskins (29)

Despite the Washington Redskins keeping Sunday’s contest close at times, it seemed like only a matter of time before the Dallas Cowboys pulled away with the victory, which turned out to be exactly the case.

With the Redskins resting numerous key starters, most football fans knew Washington would be considered a long shot to upset Dallas on the road.

And while there are certainly plenty of reasons for the Redskins to feel frustrated over how this season turned out, at least there’s plenty to look forward to.

For starters, even though Dwayne Haskins missed the regular-season finale against the Cowboys due to an ankle injury, the Ohio State product displayed a ton of potential towards the end of his rookie campaign to prove the offense with hope for the future.

Haskins obviously has plenty of areas in need of improvement before he’s on the necessary level for the Redskins to be a consistent threat, but if Washington builds the right offense around him, this could make the NFC East more interesting next year.

Washington sounds like a long shot at the moment just to be considered a serious contender within the division, but hopefully the early experience for Haskins as a rookie pays off in a big way.
