Bold predictions for the New England Patriots as the welcome the Titans to Foxborough on Saturday for the Wild Card Round of the 2020 NFL Playoffs.

The New England Patriots will kick off their attempt at repeating as Super Bowl champions this weekend in the AFC Wild Card Round of the 2020 NFL Playoffs. The Patriots open the postseason as the No. 3 seed in the AFC welcoming in the No. 6 seed Tennessee Titans into Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Kicking off at 8:15 p.m. ET on CBS, this will be the nightcap on Saturday’s AFC playoff doubleheader. The winner of the contest will advance to play in the AFC Division Round to take on either the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens or the second-seeded Kansas City Chiefs on the road.

New England put together a 12-4 record in the regular season, claiming the AFC East title for the 11th straight year. The Patriots ended up dropping to the third seed in the conference following Week 17 as a loss to the Dolphins and a Chiefs win put Kansas City ahead of them.

On the other sideline on Saturday night, New England will host a Tennessee squad that put together a nice finish to the 2019 regular season to finish the year with a 9-7 record while grabbing the second AFC Wild Card spot.

The Titans ended up finishing second in the AFC South division behind only the Houston Texans (10-6), also winning in seven of their final 10 games going into the postseason.

Before the New England and Tennessee square off in the AFC Wild Card Round on Saturday night in Foxborough, let’s come up with three bold predictions for the Patriots as they, for once, play on the opening weekend of the NFL Playoffs.
