2. Titans upset Patriots in New England

Similar to the situation with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Seattle Seahawks, Saturday could be the perfect opportunity for the Tennessee Titans to take advantage of defeating the New England Patriots.

In previous years, there have been times in January when the Patriots seemed like an absolute lock to earn a trip to the Super Bowl, but this is clearly far from the case this season.

Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe how New England must be feeling after coming up short in Week 17 at home to the Miami Dolphins since this prevented the team from earning a first-round bye in the AFC playoff picture.

The Patriots’ offense was already in rough shape before Week 17 even arrived, and if the Titans can play well enough on defense to keep New England out of the end zone as much as possible, an upset could very well be in the works.

Also, if Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and the rest of Tennessee’s offense continues to play on a high level like the last few months, a Titans win doesn’t sound so crazy after all since this seems like the perfect way to keep this amazing season going for at least another week.
