The AP’s NFL All-Pro teams were announced on Friday and, while every player has their case, these were the six biggest snubs from the list.

On Friday ahead of the start of the 2020 NFL Playoffs, the AP announced their NFL All-Pro teams. More so than the near-unwatchable popularity contest known as the Pro Bowl, the NFL All-Pro teams are supposed to be a more meaningful look at the league and the best players at each position throughout the season.

More often than not, the AP gets it right with the All-Pro teams. At the same time, though, the NFL is such a vast league with so many players that perform at a high level that it’s only natural that some players won’t make the cut, whether or not they’re deserving or not. Of course, we call these snubs.

But before we get into the biggest snubs from the 2019 teams, let’s take a look at the NFL All-Pro First and Second teams.

First-Team NFL All-Pro

QB: Lamar Jackson, Ravens
RB: Christian McCaffrey, Panthers
FLEX: Christian McCaffrey, Panthers
TE: George Kittle, 49ers
WR: Michael Thomas, Saints | DeAndre Hopkins, Texans
OT: Ronnie Stanley, Ravens (LT) | Ryan Ramczyk, Saints (RT)
OG: Quenton Nelson, Colts (LG) | Zack Martin, Cowboys (RG)
C: Jason Kelce, Eagles

EDGE: Chandler Jones, Cardinals | T.J. Watt, Steelers
IDL: Aaron Donald, Rams | Cam Heyward, Steelers
LB: Bobby Wagner, Seahawks | Demario Davis, Saints | Eric Kendricks, Vikings
CB: Stephon Gilmore, Patriots | Tre’Davious White, Bills
S: Jamal Adams, Jets | Minkah Fitzpatrick, Steelers
DB: Marcus Peters, Ravens | Tyrann Mathieu, Chiefs | Marlon Humphrey, Ravens

K: Justin Tucker, Ravens
P: Brett Kern, Titans
KR: Cordarrelle Patterson, Bears
PR: Deonte Harris, Saints
ST: Matthew Slater, Patriots

Again, there are few players that you would call undeserving of recognition on the First-Team All-Pro. The same can largely be said of the Second Team as well.

Second-Team NFL All-Pro

QB: Russell Wilson, Seahawks
RB: Derrick Henry, Titans
FLEX: Derrick Henry, Titans
TE: Travis Kelce, Chiefs
WR: Julio Jones, Falcons | Chris Godwin, Buccaneers
OT: David Bakhtiari, Packers (LT) | Mitchell Schwartz, Chiefs (RT)
OG: Joel Bitonio, Browns (LG) | Joe Thuney, Patriots (LG) | Marshal Yanda, Ravens (RG)
C: Rodney Hudson, Raiders

EDGE: Shaq Barrett, Buccaneers | Cameron Jordan, Saints
IDL: Grady Jarrett, Falcons | DeForest Buckner, 49ers
LB: Luke Kuechly, Panthers | Darius Leonard, Colts | T.J. Watt, Steelers
CB: Richard Sherman, 49ers | Marcus Peters, Ravens
S: Justin Simmons, Broncos | Tyrann Mathieu, Chiefs

K: Josh Lambo, Jaguars
P: Tress Way, Redskins
KR: Mecole Hardman, Chiefs
PR: Diontae Johnson, Steelers
ST: Cordarrelle Patterson, Bears | J.T. Gray, Saints

So there we have it, the NFL All-Pro teams from the 2019 regular season as the playoffs are set to kick off. And while this isn’t to disparage any of the players that earned the nod, there were some players that deserved recognition that, simply, didn’t get it.

Whether it’s a snub from the First-Team All-Pro or from the teams as a whole, these are six glaring snubs from the AP’s All-Pro teams.
