The 2020 NFL Draft order is starting to fully take shape as the NFL Playoffs have begun with the top 24 picks now set following Wild Card Weekend.
Wild Card Weekend of the 2020 NFL Playoffs did not play out in the way that many expected it to. Whether it was Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans bowling over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots or the Minnesota Vikings once again finding their way past the New Orleans Saints, three of the four lower-seeded teams captured victories on Saturday and Sunday.
In terms of the 2020 NFL Draft, the results from the Wild Card Round threw things for a loop in a way. While the top 20 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft order were set at the conclusion of the regular season, the final 12 selections were projected off of the overall record of the playoff teams. Now that some higher seeds lost, however, things have been shaken up.
The first round of the playoffs coming to a close obviously means that there are only eight franchises that have a chance to win the Super Bowl. But in regards to the offseason, it also means that the first 24 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft order are now set as the annual event — this year taking place in Las Vegas — is becoming a clearer picture.
Now that the Wild Card Round is in the books and only eight picks remain in question, let’s take a look at the 2020 NFL Draft order (* denotes a pick which is not yet set).
