With the Minnesota Vikings facing the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday, here are three Vikings predictions going into the game.

The Minnesota Vikings will continue their underdog run in the 2020 NFL Playoffs this weekend in the NFC Divisional Round. The sixth-seeded Vikings will travel to take on a tough San Francisco 49ers squad, the top-seeded team in the conference, on Saturday afternoon at 4:35 p.m. ET on NBC at Levi’s Stadium in the NFC Divisional Round this weekend.

Minnesota, coming off of a thrilling overtime victory over the No. 3 New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card Round last weekend in New Orleans, looks to steal yet another game on the road on Saturday with the hopes of reaching the NFC Championship Game for the first time since doing so in 2018.

The winner of the game will on Saturday will move on in the playoffs to take on the winner of the other NFC Divisional Round game between the fifth-seeded Seattle Seahawks and the second-seeded Green Bay Packers for a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

The Vikings enter the Divisional Round contest riding high from their upset victory over the Saints last Sunday afternoon, a game where Minnesota came out on top 26-22 thanks to an early touchdown in overtime from Kirk Cousins to Kyle Rudolph that sealed the win.

In that game, the Vikings jumped out ahead of the Saints early on the road, opening the first half of action up by outscoring New Orleans, 13-10, in the first two quarters to grab a three-point lead going into halftime.

The Saints ended up responding in the second half and evened things up, outscoring the Vikings, 10-7, in the final two quarters to force extra time in New Orleans. In overtime, Cousins found his tight end in Rudolph in the end zone on the opening drive to steal the playoff contest in upset fashion.

On the other sideline at Levi’s Stadium this weekend, Minnesota battles against a San Francisco team that is rested up following its first-round by in the first round of the playoffs.

The 49ers finished up the regular season schedule this year by tallying an overall record of 13-3, claiming the NFC West title over the Seahawks to get the top seed in the conference for the postseason.

The game will mark the first time that the Vikings and 49ers will see each other this season, with the last meeting between the two squads coming during the 2018 regular season.

Before Minnesota and San Francisco face off in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday afternoon at Levi’s Stadium, let’s make three bold predictions that will take place for the Vikings in the win-or-go-home contest.
