1. Packers defeat Seahawks, 24-20

The Packers have the historical advantage against the Seahawks, having won 13 of the 22 previous matchups between the two teams. Most importantly, though, the Packers are 18-5 at Lambeau Field in the playoffs in their team history. There’s an unquestioned home-field advantage that lies with the Packers, particularly in January.

The one question mark surrounding Green Bay is how first-year coach Matt LaFleur will fare in his first career playoff game as a head coach. LaFleur is undoubtedly a massive reason for the Packers’ impressive turnaround from last season, but the playoffs are always a much different environment. The Packers have the advantage in several key areas, which means this game could come down to coaching.

If the Packers can control the clock, particularly by utilizing Aaron Jones to the fullest extent, Green Bay should be able to come out on top. Jones has 23 and 25 carries, respectively, over the past two games, so it appears LaFleur may have been saving his star running back for a late-season playoff push this whole time.

The Packers have been “winning ugly” all season, so there’s little reason to think Sunday should be any different. LaFleur and company will have a tough task, but I believe Green Bay grabs a victory by a final score of 24-20.
