2. Watson has 3 total TDs but 2 INTs too

There’s no doubt that Deshaun Watson had a nice overall game when the Texans topped the Chiefs in the regular season. However, despite the fact that the Chiefs defense was less than stellar and quite banged up at the time and despite Will Fuller being on the field for Watson, the quarterback had his share of ups and downs. He threw for a touchdown and rushed for two more but also threw a pair of interceptions on the day.

I expect that type of effort to be replicated on Sunday afternoon in the Divisional Round. The Chiefs getting healthier has them putting pressure on opposing signal-callers which will force some bad decisions from Watson. However, Watson will continue to use his legs and playmaking skills to find success and do all he can to negate his costly giveaways.

1. Chiefs cruise, scoring 40 and winning by two touchdowns

Though the Texans and Watson are good enough when they have the ball to even put up some points against a Chiefs defense that played miles better down the stretch of the regular season, I don’t think they have enough to keep up with Mahomes and Kansas City. Watson will try to pull off his heroics but it won’t ultimately matter.

Mahomes and Kansas City are going to turn on the jets early and, just when Houston is going to try and mount a comeback, the Chiefs will hit the afterburners. Expect this to be the most dominant offensive performance that we’ve seen yet in the 2020 playoffs as everything clicks at Arrowhead for Andy Reid‘s team in a resounding victory.
