Speaking of teams facing tough decisions in the offseason, will the Jacksonville Jaguars move forward with Gardner Minshew as their quarterback on offense or give it another go with Nick Foles?

In a way, it’s sort of unfair to put Foles in this position since the former Super Bowl MVP suffered a broken collarbone right away in Week 1, and tried to play catch up later on in the season when he was healthy enough to return.

Meanwhile, Minshew experienced some of the struggles that most rookie quarterbacks deal with during their first year of action, but also provided some much-needed sparks on offense at times, which is part of the reason he finished the year as the starter.

Of course, if Jacksonville does decide to move forward with Minshew, this will be easier said than done since the guaranteed money for Foles if they were to move on could complicate things.

Sadly, no team is going to want to acquire Foles with that kind of contract, and it sounds like no matter what happens, the Jaguars are going to end up regretting all that money being guaranteed.

Then again, Jacksonville could always decide to give it at least one more try with Foles since he is a former Super Bowl MVP for a reason, and there is no guarantee that Minshew is the right answer in the long run, so it will be interesting to see how this situation plays out.
