With Joe Burrow expected to go No. 1 in the 2020 NFL Draft, here are 10 surprise teams that should consider trading up for the star LSU quarterback.

After a phenomenal performance by Joe Burrow in the National Championship to help LSU defeat the Clemson Tigers, the focus will now shift to the star quarterback preparing for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Ever since the Cincinnati Bengals clinched the top overall pick in April’s draft following a two-win season in 2019, the speculation has been the team will pave the way for Burrow, and move on from Andy Dalton at some point.

This may seem unfair for Dalton after looking at all of the years spent under center for Cincinnati’s offense, and what took place this past season wasn’t exactly his fault, but Burrow is simply too talented of a quarterback to pass on with the top overall pick.

Even if the Bengals could still make out well by going with arguably the top defender from this year’s draft class in Ohio State’s Chase Young, it would be heartbreaking to watch Burrow go on to become a stud in the NFL, and Cincinnati live with regret over their decision.

With that being said, after watching Burrow perform the way he did in the playoffs against the Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners, there’s a good chance the Bengals receive plenty of phone calls over the next few months to see what it would take to trade for the first pick in the draft.

Cincinnati hasn’t expressed any interest at all in trading the selection, but it never hurts to think about the possibility of what could happen, even if some scenarios seem like absolute long shots.
