2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When it comes to the biggest decision of the offseason for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jameis Winston is a clear No. 1 since it’s time to determine if the former top overall pick is worth giving another shot in 2020.

As great as it was to watch Winston throw for more than 5,000 yards in 2019 to go along with 33 touchdown passes, the 30 interceptions were a major red flag for the Buccaneers.

If it weren’t for all the turnovers, one can only imagine how different the 2019 season would have been for Tampa Bay since a few more wins could have put them in position to compete for a Wild Card spot in the NFC.

Looking at the Buccaneers’ offense, it’s easy to make the case to give Winston another shot, but also it’s already been five years, and the quarterback has yet to appear in the playoffs for Tampa Bay.

In other words, the Buccaneers aren’t in the best position to allow another season go to complete waste if Winston isn’t the right answer at quarterback.

Plus, if Tampa Bay were to move on from Winston, and pave the way for Burrow to be their new quarterback of the future, as a rookie, he would be in great position to start right away.
