4. Chicago Bears

One year after Mitch Trubisky helped the Chicago Bears finish on top of the NFC North, the team took a major step back during the 2019 season by missing out on the playoffs.

For now, Trubisky’s job appears to be safe for at least one more season, but also keep in mind it was the Bears that pulled off a surprise move to land their starting quarterback during the draft in 2017.

With the team previously using the 2017 offseason to originally sign Mike Glennon to be their starters, it was easy to understand why it was such a shock to see Chicago trade up in the draft to select Trubisky with the No. 2 pick.

Looking back, Bears fans can only wonder how different things would be if the team selected Patrick Mahomes or Deshaun Watson instead of Trubisky, but unfortunately there isn’t anything the team can do about it now.

Then again, there is still something Chicago can do about the upcoming draft if they decide Trubisky is far from the answer, and they want to start fresh with someone new like Burrow.

Trading up may be difficult for the Bears to make this happen, but it’s certainly possible.
