3. Los Angeles Chargers

Will 2020 finally be the year in which the Los Angeles Chargers realize they would be much better off without Philip Rivers on offense?

Throughout his career, Rivers has provided the Chargers with plenty of amazing moments, and it’s always been disappointing to think how he was never fortunate enough to play in the Super Bowl, despite being part of numerous great teams.

But after watching Los Angeles take a major step back in 2019 with Rivers struggling for the most part, the Chargers need to begin the process of finding their next franchise quarterback.

From Rivers watching his arm strength go on the decline to Los Angeles failing to close out key games, there are numerous reasons to support this decision.

For obvious reasons, the thought of a team like the Chargers landing a young prospect in Burrow would be a dream come true since Los Angeles is loaded with plenty of great talent already for the quarterback to work with on offense.

Even if Rivers hung around to help mentor the Heisman Trophy winner, this would still help the Chargers in a big way in regards to the future, and help the team return to the level of being a top contender in the AFC in no time.
