2. Davante Adams is healthy and rolling

The last time the Packers played the 49ers, wide receiver Davante Adams was still recovering from a turf toe injury that forced him to miss four games. Adams still hauled in seven receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets, but it was clear the star receiver was still dealing with a nagging toe injury that plagued him for most of the first half of the season.

Fast forward to the last few weeks though and it appears that Adams has caught fire after finally getting healthy. In his last four games (including postseason), Adams has racked up 35 receptions for 472 yards and four touchdowns, which includes three games of over 100 yards. He’s also never tallied less than seven receptions during that span.

Adams showed up in a big way against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round this past Sunday, logging eight catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, his 160 yards is a new postseason record for the Packers. Simply put, Adams cannot be stopped at the moment.

He’ll face a tough test against 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman on Sunday, but Adams should have a much greater impact than he did in Week 12. With a healthy toe, rejuvenated chemistry with Aaron Rodgers in Matt LaFleur’s offense and an underdog mentality, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Adams record another 100-yard game.
