NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs, 49ers advance to Super Bowl 54
By Dan Parzych
With Super Bowl 54 all set between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, here’s a look at the latest NFL Power Rankings.
After months of discussing NFL Power Rankings, isn’t it crazy to think how Super Bowl 54 is officially set to take place in Miami less than two weeks from now between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers?
As crazy as it is to believe since Week 1 seemed like it was only yesterday, one more game remains before the offseason is in full swing for all 32 teams after another exciting weekend of NFL playoff action.
Once again, the Chiefs found themselves in serious trouble early on in the AFC Championship against the Tennessee Titans after trailing 10-0 early on in the first half before eventually fighting their way back to pull away with the 35-24 victory.
Despite the Titans heating up at the perfect time over the last month or so that included impressive wins over the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City turned out to be too much for Tennessee to overcome.
Now, all eyes will be on Andy Reid and company down in Miami to see if he can finally earn that first Super Bowl title as head coach, although this will be easier said than done after seeing how impressive the 49ers looked in their win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Even though San Francisco’s 37-20 victory over Green Bay in the NFC Championship didn’t turn out to be a blowout like the regular season, all that matters for the 49ers is the NFC West champions continue to step up in the biggest of games.
Waiting less than two weeks for the Super Bowl in Miami to get underway will require plenty of ways for football fans to help pass the time, but to help out, here’s a look at the latest NFL Power Rankings heading into Super Bowl 54.
