31. . . Previous: 27th. New York Giants. 27. team

Keeping the conversation going in the NFC East, the New York Giants appear to be in a similar situation as the Washington Redskins in which they hope their quarterback coming off his first NFL season in Daniel Jones takes the offense to new levels in 2020.

Back in April, the Giants took plenty of heat for selecting the former Duke star in the first round when looking at some of the other top quarterbacks available, but no one seems to be questioning the decision on Jones anymore.

All of a sudden, New York seems to have a bright future with their successor to Eli Manning after looking at the impact made by Jones throughout his rookie campaign with a few monster performances.

Finding a way to be consistent will certainly be key for Jones entering his second NFL season with the Giants, but at least the quarterback’s job will be a little easier by having Saquon Barkley to work with in the backfield.

Depending on how the offseason goes in New York, there are plenty of reasons to believe the Giants will be serious candidates to make the leap to contender in the NFC now that finding a quarterback in the draft will no longer be an issue thanks to Jones.
