NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs, 49ers advance to Super Bowl 54

Will the Los Angeles Chargers finally move on from Philip Rivers this offseason?
With all due respect to Rivers since there was once a time in which he was viewed as a top quarterback in the league, 2019 made it clear this is no longer the case.
From struggling to close out key games to his arm strength clearly on the decline, it’s easy to make the case for the Chargers to start fresh with someone new under center other than Rivers.
After previously earning a trip to the Divisional Round last January, Los Angeles was expected to remain a top contender in the AFC with all the talent to work with on both sides of the football, and this could very well be the case once again in 2020 since most key players will return.
But as far as Rivers is concerned, plenty could happen once September arrives, but if the Chargers stick with him under center, chances are the offense will continue to live up to their true potential.
And as previously mentioned, with all of the talent Los Angeles is fortunate enough to work with, the team can’t afford to be in a position where they continue to struggle due to poor play at quarterback with Rivers.
