The Dallas Cowboys need to fill a few holes before the draft to keep from reaching out of necessity. Here are three players they should look at adding through trades.

There’s a new coach in Big D as the Dallas Cowboys decided to move on from Jason Garrett and have since hired Mike McCarthy. Fans know McCarthy all too well as he was the Green Bay Packers head coach for 13 seasons and defeated Dallas more than once in the postseason.

Not only that, but he also won his only Super Bowl in Arlington, something that was discussed when he was hired. In addition to his Super Bowl pedigree, McCarthy brings a great reputation for putting up great offensive numbers. The only question now is whether or not his style has grown stale.

So far, it appears the answer is no. McCarthy has shaken things up by giving in more to analytics and even retained Kellen Moore as the offensive coordinator. He also will allow Moore to call plays, which is a huge plus for Dak Prescott who excelled under Moore in 2019.

With all that out of the way, Dallas can now turn their attention to the roster. There are a lot of talented players out there who can help them fill some holes on their own roster.

The draft and free agency will take care of many of those openings, but they could also decide to add talent via trade. If so, here are three young players Dallas could trade for in 2020.
