2020 NFL Mock Draft: What if the Bengals pass on Joe Burrow?
By Dan Parzych
Will the Atlanta Falcons regret giving Dan Quinn another shot at head coach after the team missed out on the playoffs for the second year in a row?
To most teams, this wouldn’t seem like that big of a deal, but from a talent perspective, the Falcons should have been able to compete better with the roster Quinn had to work with.
The fact that Atlanta ended the 2019 season as one of the hottest teams in the NFL by winning six of their last eight games, and only finished with a 7-9 record shows how awful the first two months of action really were for the team.
At least if the Falcons can find a way to add a few defensive weapons in the offseason since the offense is in great shape with Matt Ryan having key players like Julio Jones to work with, the team should be able to bounce back as a serious contender in 2020.
As for which players Atlanta could target in the first round, K’Lavon Chaisson could be one of numerous LSU players selected in the first round with the Falcons in need of adding another edge rusher.
After setting career highs during his final season with the Tigers with 6.5 sacks, Chaisson seems like another one of those defenders who will only continue to get better with experience once he officially arrives in the NFL.
