Wide Receiver. Oklahoma. CeeDee Lamb. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 87

Moving on from Ron Rivera was the right decision for the Carolina Panthers when looking at how each of the last two seasons played out with the team looking like serious contenders early on, only to collapse in the final two months.

Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether the Panthers stick with Cam Newton, Kyle Allen, or someone else at quarterback since there seems to be a ton of excitement surrounding Matt Rhule coming on board as the new head coach.

Not to mention, Rhule will benefit in a big way from being able to use Christian McCaffrey in multiple ways, but unfortunately Carolina still needs some help at the wide receiver position.

No matter who ends up playing quarterback under center for the Panthers in 2020, they will need extra help at wide receiver and with a few strong candidates in this year’s draft that could be selected on opening night, CeeDee Lamb seems worthy of ending up in Carolina.

During his final two seasons at Oklahoma, Lamb made a strong case for being one of the top receivers in college football after catching 127 passes for 2,485 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Lamb has proven to be a nightmare for opponents to tackle, and it’s only a matter of time before defenders in the NFL to say the same, whether the young wideout ends up on the Panthers or simply a different team.
