The NFL Pro Bowl Skills Showdown is arguably the best part of Pro Bowl weekend in Orlando and here’s all of the information for when and how to watch.

For the fourth year now, the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Showdown is back in the mix for 2020. As the league looks to add excitement to the all-star festivities in Orlando one week ahead of the Super Bowl, the skills challenge has been a great way of doing so. Even if silly, it’s always entertaining and offers good times for the fans in attendance and at home.

Gearing up for the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, there will be four events that we’ve seen in previous years while there’s the addition of a new event, which again speaks to how the NFL is looking to expand this event in Orlando and try to find ways to keep it fresh pitting the AFC against the NFC. The rosters will consist of two quarterbacks, one running back, three receivers/tight ends/defensive backs, three linemen/linebackers and one non-QB coach’s choice.

But first, it’s important that you know how you can tune into the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown. Here’s how to watch:

Here are the events that fans can expect for the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, starting with the newest challenge, per NFL.com:

Thread the Needle: The new challenge as part of the proceedings, defensive backs will get their chance to shine in a head-to-head competition. These players will be facing off against opposing team quarterbacks and try to defend passes being thrown at targets.

Precision Passing: An old favorite that is a callback to the old-school quarterback contests from Pro Bowl weekend, both quarterbacks from the AFC and NFC teams will have one minute to throw as many attempts to hit a wide array of different targets with varying point values.

Gridiron Gauntlet: The five-man relay race returns for the 2020 Pro Bowl Skills Showdown in an event that looks to showcase the physical traits and athleticism of the competitors.

Best Hands: A timed event for quarterbacks and wide receivers, two pairs from each team will have to make a series of catches down and across the field that requires specific styles of grabs. From one-handed grabs, over-the-shoulder throws and so on, the team with the best time wins.

Epic Pro Bowl DodgeballEveryone knows how dodgeball works and this is simple — but that doesn’t make it any less fun with NFL players competing. This will be a best-of-three series to determine whether the AFC or NFC wins the event.
