1. Harrison Smith defensive dominance continues

Who doesn’t like to see a pick-six, especially one that spans over the course of the entire 100-yard football field? Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith ended up doing just that — or at least contributing to doing that — during the third quarter of the Pro Bowl on Sunday.

With just under eight minutes left in the third quarter of the game at Camping World Stadium, Smith recorded one of the three NFC interceptions in the game, with the interception ended up getting returned for a touchdown that cut the AFC lead down to bring the game within one possession.

Smith recorded the highlight of the game for Minnesota when he picked off Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson at the three-yard line and returned it 36 yards down the field. Smith ended up lateralling the ball to Fletcher Cox, who ran it the rest of the way — 61 yards to be exact — for the defensive touchdown.

The veteran safety for the Vikings finished the Pro Bowl, which was his fifth straight selection to the game, by recording three tackles and one interception.

The final and arguably the biggest takeaway from the game that featured a total of eight Vikings players was the fact that Smith was able to put on a show defensively and put up arguably the top moment of the game for both Minnesota and the NFC in Orlando.
