With the 2019 campaign in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to take a look back at the first-round picks of the 2019 NFL Draft and grade their rookie seasons.

As many expected, the 2019 NFL Draft yielded a heaping pile of exciting talent. There were some serious steals, a couple of puzzling picks, and plenty of star power in the first round. Now that the 2019 season is in the books, it’s only natural to reflect back on the Day 1 picks’ performances.

That’s why I’ve assigned letter grades for each of the 2019 NFL Draft first-round picks.

These grades take a few things into consideration, including production, impact and potential shown. Be aware that there will be some guys who stuffed the stat sheets and still got average grades. There will also be guys who didn’t produce eye-popping numbers but still received positive marks for their performances. As crazy as it may seem, it’s not all about the stats.

Also keep in mind that these grades are based on my opinions. Everyone will have different takeaways for different players—just take it for what it is. As a whole, though, I gave away more As and Bs than I expected to, with only three grades below a “C-“.

With that in mind, here are my grades for each of the 2019 NFL Draft’s first-round picks.
