Before the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 54, here are five x-factors for the NFC Champions going into the Big Game.

After surviving 18 games to this point, the San Francisco 49ers have just one more team lying ahead of them and their ultimate goal. It’s officially Super Bowl week for San Francisco, going into the Big Game in Miami for a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs with a league title on the line. The Chiefs and 49ers will square off in Super Bowl LIV at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday evening at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

San Francisco comes into the big game this weekend as the top-seeded team in the NFC and are coming off of victories over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Divisional Round and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship to reach the Super Bowl.

The 49ers, viewed by many as containing one of the more complete groups on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, finished the regular season slate with a 13-3 record while claiming the NFC West crown a year after finishing just 4-12 overall.

On the other sideline, Kansas City, which earned the second seed in the AFC standings, enters the game after taking down the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round before advancing to the Super Bowl with a victory over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship.

The Chiefs, who have one of the most explosive offenses in the league, wrapped up the regular season with a record of 12-4 overall while also winning the AFC West title for the fourth straight year.

With preparations now underway for Super Bowl week leading up to Sunday’s game on Sunday in Super Bowl 54 between San Francisco and Kansas City, let’s take a look into five x-factors for the 49ers in the game.
