Jimmy Graham seemingly isn’t long for Green Bay moving forward. He’s been a shell of the player that he once was as a receiving tight end. Though he had some shining moments for the offense this past season, it’s clear that he’s not the every-day, every-play reliable target that he once was in this league. And though the Packers have Jace Sternberger, taking another mid-round shot isn’t a bad course of action.

Stanford’s Colby Parkinson isn’t going to be able to come in right away and be a star but he has the makings of a valuable offensive piece. He needs to get stronger to play as an inline blocker right now but his size and requisite physical tools make him a tantalizing receiving threat that can be a red zone threat right away and a highly versatile weapon down the line.

There’s no question that the future is bright for cornerback Jaire Alexander in Green Bay as he has the makings of a superstar at the position. Furthermore — though he’s inconsistent and oftentimes frustrating — Kevin King still is a physical freak that can still develop into a great No. 2. Having said that, the Packers need depth at the position and also need a more reliable and younger nickel. Enter Amik Robertson.

Playing at Louisiana Tech, Robertson has slipped under the radar for many but this young man can play. His biggest shortcoming is his size at 5-9, 183 pounds but his fluidity and footwork in coverage are phenomenal. Robertson shows on tape the ability to step in right away and cover NFL-caliber slot receivers in the middle of the field and also adds playmaking to the Packers defense with 14 interceptions in his college career.
