Checking in on when Super Bowl 54 starts on Sunday so you don’t miss a second of the action between the 49ers and Chiefs from Miami.

In case you’ve missed everything on TV or the internet for the past two weeks, the Super Bowl is ready for Sunday, Feb. 2. Live from Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, the Kansas City Chiefs will represent the AFC as they take on the San Francisco 49ers from the NFC. Super Bowl LIV will kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET and will be live on FOX with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

This is a Super Bowl matchup that you’ll certainly want to tune in for from the start time until the clock strikes triple-zeroes. After a snooze-fest last year in the Big Game, the 2020 edition is likely to deliver an instant classic as the Chiefs and 49ers are built for this moment.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won the MVP award a year ago and, though he dropped off a bit and dealt with injuries this year, he’s turned it on the in the playoffs. And with elite weapons like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce at his disposal, he’s ready to rock in a big way. The big key may be an improved defense after that was their downfall a year ago.

As for the 49ers, Jimmy Garoppolo has enjoyed some big moments at quarterback but Raheem Mostert and the run game have largely been the heartbeat of the offense, as has tight end George Kittle. But let’s be honest, San Francisco has thrived on the back of Nick Bosa and their defense.

On top of all that, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan are two of the most creative offensive minds in the NFL. Subsequently, this should be a fantastic matchup from a talent and Xs and Os perspective.
