There’s so much to love about the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl 54 but simply the coolest part of it all might be the confetti in the stadium.

At Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night as the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV, their first title in five decades, there was no shortage of great moments. Head coach Andy Reid took the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in his illustrious career, quarterback Patrick Mahomes got the first title of his young career along with MVP honors and the Chiefs were all ecstatic to have this win.

Yet, the best moment from the celebration on the field in Miami might have been the confetti. And that’s not even being the least bit facetious.

Releasing confetti to celebrate a Super Bowl win is far from anything new, so it wasn’t shocking to see yellow, red and white confetti showering Hard Rock Stadium after the Chiefs won. But upon further inspection, the white confetti featured various tweets that celebrated Kansas City’s run to the Big Game.

Some of them were from the players like Tyrann Mathieu, Chris Jones, the team’s official Twitter account and even a future-predicting tweet from Mahomes back in 2013:

It wasn’t just tweets from Chiefs players that got the confetti treatment either. There were also fans of Kansas City that were featured on the field-covering blanket:

For a franchise and a fan base that waited 50 years for another Super Bowl victory, this was an incredibly cool and subtle touch to the celebration. It somehow encapsulates just how special this team and this victory was for the Kansas City Chiefs and makes it a part of the biggest celebration a team can enjoy.

Saying that confetti is the most awesome part of a Super Bowl might seem hyperbolic but I stand by it. This is one of the most unique touches that you’ll see for a celebration and good on the Chiefs and Hard Rock Stadium for adding it to a terrific night for Kansas City.
