Green Bay Packers: Assembling an All-Decade Team, 2010-19
By Joe Kipp
The Green Bay Packers had a successful run over the last 10 years. We took a crack at assembling an All-Decade Team from 2010-19.
The Green Bay Packers had one of the most prosperous decades of any NFL team dating back to 2010. From winning Super Bowl XLV to collecting the second-most wins (111) of any team in the league during the decade, the Packers were one of the NFL’s most consistent franchises of the last 10 years.
Such prodigious success doesn’t come without having great players, though. The Packers had five players named as an AP First-Team All-Pro selections during the past decade, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, outside linebacker Clay Matthews, cornerback Charles Woodson, fullback John Kuhn and left tackle David Bakhtiari.
Additionally, the Packers have had 26 different players selected to the Pro Bowl since 2010, including eight players named to multiple Pro Bowls. Among those, Rodgers was named to the most Pro Bowls (seven selections) of any Packer, and also won two league MVP awards (2011, 2014).
The Packers also made it to four NFC Championship games over the past decade, winning one Super Bowl in the process. Overall, Green Bay won at least 10 games seven times in the past 10 years.
It’s safe to say that Packers fans have been spoiled for the last 10 years. With all the success the Packers have had recently, and a promising first season from head coach Matt LaFleur in 2019, there’s plenty of reasons to think the team has a lot to look forward to beyond 2020.
In the meantime, let’s take a look back at which players are worthy of being named to an All-Decade team. Here’s our take on the Packers’ All-Decade team from 2010-19.
