Secondary

Left cornerback: Charles Woodson

One of the greatest cornerbacks of all-time, Charles Woodson undoubtedly deserves a spot on the Packers’ All-Decade team. During the three seasons he played for Green Bay in the 2010s, Woodson was named to two Pro Bowls and was twice an All-Pro (one first-team, one second-team). He finished the decade with seven forced fumbles, two touchdowns, 10 interceptions and 35 passes defensed (2010-12). Before the start of the decade, Woodson won the NFL’s annual Defensive Player of the Year award in 2009.

Right cornerback: Tramon Williams

Originally an undrafted free agent in 2007, Tramon Williams has had two spells with the Packers during his career. Over the past decade, he spent 2010-14 and 2018-19 with Green Bay. Williams has always played an underrated role in the secondary. He finished the decade with 20 interceptions, 92 passes defensed and a Pro Bowl nod in 2010. Williams will be an unrestricted free agent in March at the start of the 2020 offseason, where he will turn 36 years old.

Free safety: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was inconsistent during his time with the Packers, but he showed flashes of greatness from time to time. Clinton-Dix was named to the Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro selection in 2016. After four and a half seasons in Green Bay (2014-18) he finished with 14 interceptions in 71 regular-season games.

Strong safety: Morgan Burnett

One of the most consistent players on the Packers defense over the past decade was safety Morgan Burnett. He was never named to a Pro Bowl, but Burnett was a vocal leader and the play-caller on Green Bay’s defense for several years. He played with the Packers from 2010-2017, finishing with 497 solo tackles, nine interceptions and eight forced fumbles.

Flex: Sam Shields

Cornerback Sam Shields was one of the best undrafted free agent gems signed by Ted Thompson during his time as general manager. Shields joined the team as a rookie free agent in 2010 as a converted wide receiver out of college. He made the Pro Bowl in 2014 and finished his Packer career with 18 interceptions and 66 passes defensed.
