Breaking down the Super Bowl and what’s next for the Chiefs and 49ers, a 2020 college football preview, the Hall of Fame and much more in the NFL Notebook.

What. A. Game. It’s hard not to love an NFL game like that, let alone a Super Bowl. It had it all. Big plays, motion plays, defensive plays, controversial plays, etc. I don’t know about you, but I was sitting on the edge of my seat in wonder. Although, there were times when I was jumping around. And I had no affiliation to either team.

Football really is a beautiful thing. I know it’s a cliché, but football brings people together. Friends, family and sometimes complete strangers all bonded together over a single cause.

For some, it can reward you with a confirmation that for the first time in half a century, your team is on top of the world. For others, it may be the closest you get to football glory in your lifetime, though I believe that will not be the case here.

In the last NFL Notebook of the season, I was going to recap the big game, but you can get a recap anywhere. Instead, I’m more focused on what it means for each franchise. Of course, that’s not all that is going in the world of football, specifically the NFL. What else am I talking about today?

  • My reactions to a couple of questionable awards, including the Super Bowl MVP
  • The soon-to-be most overtalked about thing on television: Tom Brady’s future
  • What could go wrong and what shouldn’t be wrong with the Pro Football Hall of Fame
  • Speculation about the top teams in college football next season
  • My annual review of the halftime show
  • My favorite Super Bowl commercial that you’ll disagree with
  • Weekly awards and much more…

Now, about that Super Bowl.
