57. Pick Analysis. FAU. Harrison Bryant. player. Scouting Report. Tight End.

Here is another sleeper pick who could pique Pace’s interest. Harrison Bryant out of Florida Atlantic University who can really help the Chicago Bears’ passing game. He measures in at 6-5 and weighs 242 pounds. He plays well in the slot, creating mismatches. Also, he has good speed so opposing defenses need to put their fastest linebackers to cover him. When that happens, receivers like Robinson and Anthony Miller get to work with more open space.

Bryant runs great routes and has the moves to create separation. He could add some more weight to his frame but not so much that it affects his athleticism.

That ability to create space helps Bryant get yards after the catch. The Bears have had problems in that area. He has a long wingspan to get to the ball, soft hands to make the catch, and does a good job running away from the defense.

Bryant was another player who used the Senior Bowl to help his stock. He ran the seam route well and did a good job of fighting to get open and using his swim move to get free.

Bryant is a willing blocker but he needs to improve his form. He’s gradually gotten stronger so starting a professional training regiment should help him get even stronger.

Some say Bryant is a glorified wide receiver but having a 6-foot-5 slot receiver creates havoc on the defense and gives Trubisky a great option in the passing game.
