Laviska Shenault Jr. is someone that it’s hard not to love. He’s a physical nightmare for defenses not only because of his elite combination of size, quickness and speed but because of the many ways that he can be utilized, lining up outside, in the slot and even in the backfield for Colorado. While the Buffaloes’ inconsistent quarterback play hindered his production, his tantalizing skill-set was clearly on display.

Scouting Outlook

"Laviska Shenault is the type of swiss army knife that creative offensive coordinators will love to add to their list of weapons. His ability to win on the outside based off of his athleticism, coupled with his mindset that he can score whenever he touches the ball, offers a truly distinctive skill set. His landing spot will be vital for his career though he’s a prospect that can be utilized in many spots. Locking him into one particular role is doing everyone involved a disservice and his impact will suffer as a result. – Jordan Reid, The Draft Network"

Fit with the Packers

The only way that Laviska Shenault shouldn’t end up with the Green Bay Packers is if he’s off of the board before the No. 30 overall pick. That’s a real possibility given that he has the potential to go in the early 20s but you never know and, if he’s available, he’s the ideal prospect to add to Rodgers’ offense.

Shenault is the chess piece missing from this offense with the ability to line up anywhere opposite of Adams and create nightmares as a 1-2 punch in that regard. His ability after the catch makes him an explosive big-play threat while his size also profiles as the type of wide receiver prospect the Packers like to target. Put simply, Shenault should be the pick in the first round if available.
