Minnesota Vikings: 5 Trade possibilities involving Stefon Diggs
2. Las Vegas Raiders
With the Las Vegas Raiders now officially making the move from Oakland to Las Vegas in 2020, the Raiders might be looking to make moves that will excite their new fan base even more right out of the gate.
While Las Vegas has been in and out of the news as a potential landing spot for veteran quarterback and future Hall-of-Famer Tom Brady if he decides to move on from the New England Patriots this offseason as a free agent, one way it could try and further motivate Brady to indeed leave New England is with a big-time acquisition to add to the offense.
One thing that Brady is likely looking for either on the Patriots or with a new team in 2020 is a star wide receiver to surround himself with on the offensive side of the field. In 2019, that was one thing that lacked in New England and resulted in the Patriots exiting the playoffs in the Wild Card Round.
If Las Vegas is able to intrigue the veteran quarterback enough to make the move from the Patriots to the Raiders, it would need to show Brady that they are willing to surround him with whatever tools necessary to make a serious run in the postseason this year.
With Diggs, the Raiders would get a new No. 1 wide receiving target to go alongside receiving targets such as Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, Tyrell Williams and others. Las Vegas also contains a solid running game led by running back Josh Jacobs as well.
Even if the Raiders strike out on signing Brady this offseason, Las Vegas could still look into making a splash via the trade market and provide its new fan base with an exciting new wide receiver to add to the mix offensively.
