After trading down twice to the No. 7 pick, the Detroit Lions are finally on the clock and ready to make a pick. There are many areas where they could look to address and all would be fine. However, when you look at the mentality that head coach Matt Patricia has tried to instill with this team, it feels as if Derrick Brown is the right prospect to attach to the Lions, especially if they move down to this spot.

Make no mistake, the fact that he doesn’t address the most immediate need in Detroit doesn’t mean that Brown will be any less effective as an NFL defensive tackle. Brown is an elite power player on the interior with the ability to create penetration at any moment. Adding him to the inside would immediately increase the effectiveness of the Lions’ front seven and give Patricia a defense he can truly mold and work with.

8. player. 32. . WR. Arizona Cardinals. Jerry Jeudy

Frankly, the biggest need for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2020 NFL Draft is their offensive line. This team needs to protect Kyler Murray better than they did in his rookie season. However, the same could’ve been said last season and the Cardinals front office instead elected to get weapons around their new franchise quarterback. So that’s the mantra we’re going to stick with here as they get WR1 in the class, Jerry Jeudy.

The Alabama star is everything you could want at the position. His route-running is as refined as any college prospect you’ll ever see and he has high-end physical traits to match. While he’s not an elite speed guy, he has big-play ability and can get open at any level of the field. His hands aren’t the most consistent but his overall skill-set could take the Cardinals offense to new heights.
