4. Quinton Spain (Age: 29)

Quinton Spain is the type of player Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace loves — a little-known guy who rose from undrafted rookie free agent to be a big part of a winning team. He’s worked hard to get to where he is now and is about to be handsomely rewarded for all that work.

He spent four years with the Tennessee Titans before the Buffalo Bills signed him. He helped solidify the line that protected Josh Allen and helped him lead the team into the playoffs.

Spain was also a big part of the offensive line that helped the Titans get into the playoffs in 2017. He’s played both sides at the guard spot.

The Bills have $89 million in cap space for 2020. That is the fourth-highest in the league this offseason. However, they have 19 free agents they have to decide whether to sign or not.

Spain is durable, having played in 100 percent of the Bills’ offensive snaps. He can fit in with the Bears’ line and continue to play well. He is an exceptional run blocker so that helps shore up a big weakness for the Bears from 2019.

Spain signed one of those “prove it” one-year deals with the Bills. He certainly did prove it and earned himself a multi-year deal. He helped Allen in his development and could do the same with Trubisky in 2020.
